Obesity as a handicap?
What do you think about morbidly obese people being given handicapped placards so they can park in handicapped spots?
For me personally, I think it's a load of sh*t. Obesity isn't a handicap. REAL handicapped people, like people in wheelchairs, need those spots. And it's not because the spots are closer to the location, it's because they have pedestrian walking areas next to them, so a wheelchair ramp can be extended out of the car (van/truck) and the wheelchair can get out.
I don't even know how doctors can give placards to morbidly obese people. The last thing they should do is be able to park closer to the KFC.
There are some rare exceptions where the person's weight cannot be controlled by the person, but for the rest that got fat by sitting around doing nothing but eat all day, that is no reason.

if they are ganna give them handicap plates because they get tired parking further down the parking lot.
than they might as well give skinny people handicap plates because they would get skinny too.
and only the healthy, average sized, athletes wouldnt qualify for handicap.
handicaps should be left to people who are "literally handicap"
