Looking for a book that is set in San Diego?
I read a book a while back about an ex-vietnam sniper who is now an accident investigator in San Diego. He investigates accidents such as a man who straps a rocket to his car and man dying from his wheelchair tipping over. The climax is an epic sniper battle in the Julian area. I was wondering if anyone could identify this book?
Found the book I was looking for, it's called "Darwin's Blade" by Dan Simmons
I haven't read it, but he sounds like a very interesting character. I'll see if I can find it in the library.
