some footrests say they are 3 inch
some say they are 3 1/8 inch
does that mean that they are just measuring differently
--1 being measure exactly BETWEEN pin holes (bottom of 1-to top of other)
-1 being measured from the top of 1 pinhole to the top of the other pinhole (which adds 1/8 inch)
or do they really make 2 different sizes
i emailed a couple companies--i can't find the exact model I have--i bought my chair used--and can't even find any info online-

Many, many different sizes are made. Go to a medical equipment dealer and have them measure and order what you need. Do not take chances on line

Ok, ya know my motor broke on my wheelchair. Well, my neighbor-best friend, loaned me one that does not feed my needs so I rigged it to work for me. I took the back off my old chair and put in in front of the back of her chair, went to Family Dollar and bought a fluffy pillow for my neck, and am thinking about duct taping a pillow to the footrest to just accent it. It feels so good to rig stuff rather than ask for help. What goofy good thing have you rigged? Please lets have fun.
I rigged my car's water sprayers to spray forwards instead of on my windscreen. If there is a convertible in front I can spray the driver. Hilarious.
