Whatv should I do this summer?

This summer I am staying at home pretty much the whole summer. I have a couple of things to do but I don't want to be bored. I wan't to be spontaneous : D

So I've decided to use my Rosetta Stone Latin American for a good 2 hours every day.

I wan't to maybe start babysitting...not so much for money just becuase I love kids (but the money IS a bonus lol!)

I want to start practicing my running because my goal for next years presidential fitness week is to run a mile in 7:09 and with practice...why not make it practical : )

I'll have a baby sister to keep me company by then and I would love to spend time with her and also help my mom out.

I'm getting a double foot surgery in August and I'll be in a wheelchair for 6 weeks (ugh : / ) so I need some crafts, recipes, etc. to do.

Thanks so much for your ideas.

Just one idea or many is great!

God Bless,
Ellie

I can spend lots of time crocheting and especially if you're going to be wheelchair-bound for a while, it's a great hobby.

Check out a website like www.craftster.org for tons of info on pretty much every craft imaginable, including cooking!

Have a great summer!

Your Ideas Are Intriguing To Me

Your Ideas Are Intriguing To Me

$16.99

This phrase works on so many levels. See, in the olden days (pre-Internet), if a crazy person walked up to you and started blathering on about something daft, you had two options. 1) Stand there and take it. 2) Back away slowly, hoping the person wouldn't notice. Neither of these strategies is particularly satisfying, generally because the second doesn't tend to be successful. People who want you to know that the earth is flat and the Moon landing was a hoax tend to have different ideas than you on many things, including personal space. But now, with the advent of "Your ideas are intriguing to me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter," you can act interested and end the conversation At The Same Time. Use this phrase to extricate yourself from inane conversations. Awkward cocktail parties. Jury duty. The possibilities are endless. Wear the shirt; avoid the crazies.* "Your ideas are intriguing to me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter." printed in white on a black, 100% cotton t-shirt. * Crazy avoidance properties of this shirt not guaranteed by ThinkGeek World Domination HQ or its subsidiaries. Shirt is not guaranteed to go up in value. Always talk to your doctor before embarking on a fitness regimen. Stop wearing if you experience dry mouth, muscle pain or weakness, or dizziness as this may be a sign of a serious but rare side-effect.

Gene Rodgers - Exercise Planning and Food Logs

Looking for a cheap way to exercise..can't afford fitness places or "Y". Am in wheelchair .arthritic knees.

would like to meet others in similar circumstances for exercise. Swimming not an option. I am old and fat . But I desperately need exercise. Any new ideas?

Why is swimming not an option? Being old and fat means nothing when you're in the water. Plus, the low-impact aerobics of water exercises will be the most beneficial to your arthritic knees.

Oh well. There are several chair exercises that might work for you. Here.
