Wheelchair Color Black
I need ideas for a new tattoo...please help!!!?
Ok here is the deal...4 years ago I broke both my ankles and had to have a plate 11 screws and 2 pins put in my left ankle. I was bed ridden for 6 months and in a wheelchair for 6 months and then spent a year in therapy learning to walk again. I have not found anybody to touch tattooing on my ankle with the metal in it but I have thought about either getting a tattoo on the opposite ankle or on my foot or above my ankle to represent the struggle and the strength I went through and to remind me to count my blessings because I could have never walked again. I have tattoos now and they are all black and whites and sepia...I am not a fan of color. I dont really want a chinese symbol or anything like that. I have tribals and celtic tattoos mostly now and am just looking for new inspiration because I cant find anything I like to represent the pain and struggle I still live with everyday and the blessings I have to just be able to walk now. Please help.
The first thing I thought about when I saw this was small, sepia footprints trailing down your ankle, disappearing over the healed ankle where the tattoo isn't possible, and then coming out the other side down your foot fading into black; I think this would symbolize your amazing journey back to your feet. I'm talking about tiny footprints, maybe an inch in length. Good luck, and you're very courageous for all that you've been through.
