How is a patient supposed to get up on that table?
The tables at the doctors office are not made fof those in wheelchairs. The doctor is not able to give a physical and he does not mention giving one. There are health problems that need to be checked out but the table/bed is too high for me to transfer. This is a stupid question but it just needs an answer. How is a person in a wheelchair supposed get a complete physical?
TELL your doctor that you would like a complete physical. Any *decent* doctor will arrange for assistance for you to get on the table. There are ways to do this. Doctor's offices are equipped to examine handicapped and disabled patients. If you ask for a physical and are really actually denied one, it's time to find another doctor.
