Do you think it was fair to taxpayer 2 pay 4 slanted curbs?
I live in Philadelphia, and I remember when the government paid millions & millons & millons of dollars to repave EVERY single curb so they were "wheelchair-accessable". I have had to use a wheelchair b4, you CAN get up a curb, come on!
All this for, what, 10 % (at most) of the population. What do the other 90% get? To pay for it, that is all.
They just caved in to the demands. Why couldn't they design better wheelchairs. Why heap it on the overtaxed taxpayer?
This is what I mean by these special Interest groups ( who are grossly over-represented)imposing their DEMANDS on the rest of taxpayers.
I am not unfeeling towards those with special needs. It just has to be reasonable, nescesary, & financially responsible.
Why should EVERYBODY have to pay for so few. And this goes for many other social programs as well.
Don't waste your time saying I am cold-hearted. Just THINK about the question with out the ideology goggles on, OK, please. Be objective. It is not fair!
yes it's fair and it's for more then people in wheelchairs.

Need places that are wheelchair accessable. know anywhere we can go? What shows are the best? And also in need of a good hotel recomendation.

It has a lot of desirable amenities, including handicap rooms with wheelchair access.

I recommend The Twelve Irish Tenors at the Branson Variety Theater

This theater is wheelchair accessible too; I think most of them are these days.
