Wheel Travel Scooter I'm building a kick scooter with 33 cc chainsaw engine and I need the correct gear ratio. ?
I've tried a 44 tooth sprocket on for the wheel assembly and an 18 tooth sprocket as the drive sprocket. Both sprockets are driving a 10 inch wheel. The scooter will travel a little with a good push, but the clutch is burning up. I'm going to try a 56 tooth sprocket with the 18 and see how that goes.
The wheel has a 11.5 inch diameter.
