Wheel Mid Full

Wanting to buy first car, but mom won't let me get anything "too small". What are reliable choices, but sport?
My mom says a car like the Celica, Civic, etc. is too small for me to purchase for safety reasons. This stresses me out when I want to buy a car like an Acura RSX when I pay every dime for it, and can't get it, and will have to wind up buying a car and making a huge decision i'm not even content with after working full-time, every minute for. She says the RSX is too small, and "mid-size" will work, but can be sport. I need something that is possible to customize (such as vtec, cat. converters, wheels, tail lights, etc.) and will not be too ugly, or any of that. My mom suggested the Toyota Solara, but I really don't like the look of it, too plain; to get it to look good would be too much money.
Please stay away from any car that is listed as "sport."
Try out the Mazda6. Its very sport"ish" and safe. Its big enough to make your mom happy and small enough to fulfill all those tennage desires you have. Just be very careful as these are not slow cars and they handle very well. While good handling can be good, it can also inspire over-confidence. I had a friend injure himslef and his sister in a Mazda6 because he was having too much fun. However it is a very good choice for someone with a good amount of respnsibility.
The 6i Touring model (with side airbags) should do very well at satisfying you and your mom. It shares alot of componetry (especially the engine) with the Mazda3s, Ford Fusion and Ford Focus ST (06-07).
Happy Hunting

HELP--need hub covers.?
I need hub covers for a regular 15" Ford wheel with
5 on 4 1/2 lug pattern. I don't mean a wheel cover or a wheel cover center cap. I need a hub cover that can be retained
by the lug nuts. It doesn't have to cover the lugs. OEM is fine
as long as it will work. Some push thru from the backside and
stay in place via a small flange. Others have captive metal
tangs that position the cover against the lug nuts but don't
touch the nut and seat interface. I'll be happy to vote best
answer and will be watching for a reply. New or used doesn't
matter. A part # would be fine too. I'm desparate ! The wheel
in question is a 15" from a mid-80's full sized Ford.
Run by the parts yard will have what you need , I hate that when you only need one , But I would go to parts yard and check them out. hope this helps.
