Wheel Chair how long should the wheel chair ramp be?
i have a plat form that sits 6 feet tall and i need to make a wheel chair ramp down to the ground... how long should the ramp be and what angle should it be at?
Do a search for "Americans with Disabilities Act, regulations" This should bring up a site with the minimum legal requirements for ramps, access widths, restroom dimensions, and much more.

How to fix a broken office chair wheel?
I noticed today that the wheel on my oofice chair broke. It has a metal casing and two thin small plastic wheels inside. I tried hot glue on the place where it broke but it just comes apart, how do i fix this??
See if you can remove one of the good wheels and if it is a snap-in, take it to your local home center and buy a new set of 4. There different kinds so you will need the good one to match up the replacement set.
Good Luck ! ! !
All bets are off. She obviously has some osteoporosis, but that's primarily a risk in terms of hip fracture, which would have more mortality than you might think but is largely unpredictable with its timing.
As for the renal failure, 20% sounds terrible, but with proper diet, it's more adequate than it sounds. If, on the other hand, the renal function degrades further, nobody's exactly going to be jumping in the air at the prospect of putting her on hemodialysis.
The calcific aortic valve and murmur (and I'd bet she also has a mitral murmur) are common as dirt at that age, and won't affect mortality that much unless she's shown significant symtoms of heart failure.
Perhaps she has a little dementia, and perhaps she doesn't remember the year because it really makes no difference to her in those circumstances. This hardly sounds like the advanced dementia that has people choking on their food and dying from aspiration pneumonia.
So overall, it wouldn't be terribly surprising if she, at that age, had a heart attack tomorrow, or if she lives to and even past 100. You could always study tables of life expectancy, but it's really a sucker's bet to translate from the general to the specific in an individual.
