Where can I buy and AC adapter for the Xbox 360 Wheel's Force Feedback?

Does a steering wheel adapter allow any steering to fit in any car?
I'm trying to buy a aftermarket, or an older model version, steering wheel for my 1994 Z28 Camaro. However, i was assured that not just any wheel will fit on any car. I was told that an adapter is needed to properly get the wheel to fit. So my question is, could i buy any steering wheel i wanted, as long as i get the proper adapter for it?
What about an older model of camaro? What if i wanted to throw in somthing like a 1970's steering wheel in the 1994. Would that follow the same guidline of needing the correct adapter? or would the models be so different from one another that nothing would allow the match up?
a company called grant is about the best and biggest of the companies that make aftermarket steering wheels, and how it works, is you find a wheel that you like, and then see if they have an adapter kit that will go with it. For the most part figuring out the horn button is the biggest pain in the butt, there are other companies, but they have limited products, and limited adapter kits. The adapter kits usually cover a wide variety of vehicles, and you pay and keep a lot of extra parts that will sit in the toolbox forever.
