Way Threshold
At what legislative threshold would you flout a law you felt conflicted with the Second Amendment?
National gun registration? Fingerprinting and photographing all firearms owners? Bans on semi-automatic firearms, pistols or rifles? Disposing of all non-microstamped ammunition? (What else have I missed that's on the horizon?)
At what point do you think most other gun owners will start flouting laws that they feel conflict with the Second Amendment? Or do you envision most gun owners merrily going the way of Canadian and European gun owners?
And I'm pretty sure the folks perusing the "Politics and Government" or "Law & Ethics" categories are more apt to be the types to peruse those categories, and not gun owners.
The Hunting category sees more firearms specific questions than it does hunting questions, if you take a gander.
The smartest thing the feds could do is repeal all the Gun Control Acts and allow each state to regulate them.
This would allow states like Alaska, Wyoming, Montana, Maine, Vermont, Texas, Ohio etc to have no stupid laws.
And states like California, New York and Mass to have a full ban field day.
Because laws necessary to keep the lid down on crime in one urban state makes no sense in a rural state.
I will draw the line when they say I need to start tunring in stuff - doesn't matter if it's guns, mags, or ammo. When they say I have to turn in things that I own - that's it.
And don't give me that bull about burrying them. A wise man once said the day comes you need to start burrying your guns - that is the day you need to be digging them up and using them.

Threshold - The Destruction of Words
Threshold wont turn black?
In adobe I am trying to turn my grey scanned image lines black. I turn threshold all the way up, but when I hit "ok", it turns back to grey. What do I need to do? Ultimitly I want the lines on a seperate layer.
I'm not sure what way you are adjusting the threshold so let's try it this way
With the image open
Createa a new threshold adjustment layer (half black circle under layers palette)
Adjust slider until threshold shows currect view (preview needs checked)
Then click ok
