How to fix a seat belt in 1991 Acura Integra?
The drivers side power seat belt stopped retracting a couple months ago and then MAGICALLY started to work again a couple weeks later. Now it has stopped again...grrrrr. What is a cheap way to fix this? What type of shop would I take it to? Would it be cheaper if I just get it retracted back so it is no longer electric but now manuel? How much would that be and who can do that?
I had a similar problem with my Honda. If you can get it to go back on its own, then just pull the fuse out so it cant go back forward. Just look in the owners manual for where the fuse is for the auto seatbelt, you can do it on your own. If it wont go back on its own, sometimes I used to be able to pull mine back by hand. It was really hard but it would go if I worked at it. I got tired of doing that and then it would start working again and I would have to do it all over, so I eventually found the fuse and pulled it. Those are nice when they work since you can just get in and go without having to put a seatbelt on but once they stop they can be a pain! Good luck.

I have a 2000 Corvette. The memory for the power seat does not work. Sensors replaced, wires checked, nothing.
seat moves 6 ways however the memory does not hold. Seat has to be adjusted every time I enter the car. Tried everything including going back to dealer several times, but they can't find a fix either.
Did you consider replacing the seat itself?
