Home Gym stand-on Vibration plate machines!!!! Do they work??
We all hear about Madonna using one and all the major sports stars using them.
But..............do they actually work?
I'm thinkin of buying the Bodi-tek Power Trainer,
which costs approx £200 ( or $400)
My worry is that all the models you can see in your local gym cost around £5000 upwards.
Are the home gym models just a cheap imitation or are they simply priced closer to their cost value?
I can find no genuine product reviews on the net despite lookin quite a lot.
Has anybody reading this any experience of using one of these machines, at the gym or at home?
I'd appreciate any answers as not only does it cost £200 but it will take up a lot of space in my flat and i don't need any more clothes hangers!
I already have a treadmill!

Basically you are looking at a cheap version of a good product. Most cheap home gym equipment is just that, cheap. Things are not smooth, and tend to break down a lot more. Personally I would stear clear from these sorts of products, but that is based on personal experience with cheaper gym products.
Go to a gym and jump on one of theirs. You will see how smoothly and quietly it operates compared to one of the ones that you are looking at getting. They will also be more reliable.
I wouldn't bother with one, but again, its going to be up to you in the long run.

has anybody done a power plate work out? how were your results after using it for awhile?

Also a useful resource if you are looking to buy one as they compare loads of different models that are cheaper than the Power Plate for the home. I think these vibration plates work well alongside a balanced cardio program and diet.
