Electric scooters, are they legal?
I want to get one of those electric scooters (bit like the ones the kids use but with a bit of a motor) and I wondered if they were legal to use on the streets.
Does anyone have one?
Are they good?
I live in London and want one for getting to work and back!

I had one with a little sead and stuff on.
Battery lasted my whole paper round which was like 3 - 4miles when I was younger. I later sold it on ebay. They take a while to charge.
There great in my opinion but I did hear there was a law being brought in on them. I can;t remember the in's and out's, however. Hopefully someone else will.
EDIT.
I looked about a little and found this.
Looks as though they are illegal. Quite rediculously considering the climate change problems we're facing, right now. But anyway, check the site in my source.
But yeah, check ebay mine went for £50 and cost me £150 bran new. Good bargains.
