and most other muslim parts of africa and the middle east
@eric. answer the question. why aren't we atheists safe over there.
It's a fair question, darling...and one that's based on fact. Being an atheist is difficult if not downright deadly in those countries, and it's a reasonable question to ask for an explanation of why this is so. I'll be interested to see the answers from Muslims.
I do know that I've seen Muslims indicate that they regard atheists (and polytheists) as having committed the "unforgivable sin" of shirk. I'd also be curious to find out why they might think that a person's private beliefs regarding religion are the concern of a government.
I honestly cannot imagine what Think Tanker finds "demeaning" in this question, other than the "you're a hater" reflex with which too many Muslims react to anything that seems like criticism.

First, the question was about atheists, not Christians.
Second - about that huuuuuuuuuuuge Christian community in Pakistan..."According to the CIA World Factbook, Library of Congress, Oxford University and others, about 95-97% of the population of Pakistan is Muslim and the remaining 3-5% is Christian, Hindu and others.
Religious population In Pakistan
* Muslims: 175,376,000 (Sunnis are the majority while Shi'as are minority who make up 5-20%)
* Hindus: 3,200,000 (approx. 1.6%)
* Christians: 2,800,000 (approx. 1.6%)
* Buddhists: 20,000
* Sikhs: 20,000
* Zoroastrian/Parsis: 5,000
* Others (included Animists, Atheists, Jews, etc.): unknown"
So vast.
Added: Two days later, there's still no answer from the Muslims except for one accusation that someone likes to "demean" Muslims and one completely random answer about Christianity in Pakistan.

should I do it or not?
Ok I am really having a tuff time deciding what I am going to do! I have a 2002 Chrysler Sebring it's 2 door standard with 85,000 miles on it front wheel drive. I've had it for almost 2 years it's a great car to me plus it's pretty. Ok here is the tuff part I really like this 2000 Audi A4 it's also standard but all wheel drive more miles 116,000 and 4 door! But the name speaks for itself Audi and it's all wheel drive it will be better in the snow. I live in Colorado which would be great. So anyone who knows cars let me know if you think I should do this!!
Oh yeah the audi is turboed too.
Don't do it.
The Audi is two years older, has twice the miles, has more systems to go wrong, and is terribly expensive to repair.
