Where do I find out about grants for the handicap?
I've been disabled since about second grade. It's not that it's so bad I have to be in a wheel chair, but I have lots of problems w/ my joints and muscles. I have RA and Fibromyalgia. Since I was little, I've had to take daily baths. I was told that there is a grant for the handicap, that allows them to recieve a hot tub. This would be wonderful for me, but I can't find where I need to go. Anything might help! THanks!!

check with your local home store. It sounds like it wasn't installed properly. I had a friend who had a simular problem and they to just kept putting caulking in it………well when they went to sell their home the person buying it wanted it checked for water damage at his expense, they cut through the drywall in the little room the toilet was in because behind that wall was the shower………when they took the drywall and base board out the base board was wet and molded and so were the studs……..they kept going and long story short the whole area was rotted out all the studs and bathroom subfloor 2 feet out from the shower tub area…..the guy still bought the house because he was going to remodel the bathroom anyways, but he did ask for ten thousand off the price. It turned out the drip pan and the shower were installed wrong by the developer. If my friend would have reported to the developer when she bought the house it would have been fixed at no charge. If they would have fixed it it wouldn't have cost them ten thousand dollars to do.
