Transporting Folding Manual
Wanted: a manual for Shimano (DOWNTUBE) folding bike. How to use carrying bag, i.e. all of the straps.?
I bought it used with no written instructions. How can I get a manual for bike and carrying case, specifically the straps on the case? Bike is a neat 6 speed. I just transported it on plane with luggage.
If I recall correctly, Shimano bikes were made by either Panasonic or C. Itoh (of Bridgestone and Kabuki fame), and I don't think that they're made anymore.
You might try to contact Shimano USA at their website, since according to Federal law they have to be able to supply parts and manuals for 10 years after the last date of manufacture. If the bike was brought in independently from overseas of if it is more than 10 years old I'm afraid you're out of luck.

Do 2007 Altimas have fold-down rear seats for extended trunk space?
My boyfriend drives a 2007 Altima. It is *NOT* a hybrid, but aside from that has the works (built in nav, keyless, etc, whatever). I have read online that the 2007 Altima Hybrids do NOT have fold-down rear seats. While he has had this car since 2006?, we haven't had much of a need to transport anything large inside of his little car. Until now, of course.
I have read online and had a friend who has the same model car say that the 2007 Altima DOES have fold-down seats which open into the trunk area, and allow for the carrying of, y'know, furniture and stuff. The Hybid models have a battery between the trunk-space and the seats, so they do not have the fold-down seats feature.
Anyway, we can't figure out how it works and thought maybe since it is a pretty popular model car somebody out there might know. Perhaps a helpful link to a manual with illustrations?
Base model Altima S may not have fold down seats see Section #1 page #6 if your altima is equip there are push down locking push buttons on the rear parcel shelf one on each side out board behind each of the head rests.
