Is my daycare responsible for my son's injury should they have to pay medical and for me to stay home?

My son was injured a few wk's ago at daycare. Another child jumped off of the slide on top of my son who was playing on the ground (my son was not in front of the slide) They called me to tell me my son was injured thinking it was his knee that was injured and he was crying, when I got there they were holding him and he was still crying I took him to the ER and he was x-rayed his femur was fractured. They put him in a spika cast (partial body cast) he cannot walk he is bed bound and requires total assistance for toileting, transferring and will probably be in this cast at least another month or so it has been a month already I am on medical leave (unpaid) and struggling to pay the bill's do to lost wage's.
The daycare sys sense it was an accident there insurance will not pay! not only has my children been attending this daycare for year's. The daycare is owned by my childrens church. I am a single mother do not have two income's and have ran out of saving's what should I do now

your child was in there care they are responsible there insurance can cover it you pay them to mind your child its there responsibility

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles In health care, toileting is the act of assisting a dependent patient with his/her elimination needs. Depending on a patients condition, his/her toileting needs may need to be met differently. This could be by assisting the patient to walk to a bathroom, to a portable commode, onto a bedpan, or to provide a male patient with a urinal. A more dependent or incontinent patient may have his/her toileting needs met solely through the use of diapers. Some patients can walk with assistance from another person, usually a health care worker. Aside from the need for this help, they are capable of meeting their own elimination needs. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Tennoe, Mariam T./ Henssonow, Susan F. TubBuddy Bathing Transfer System with No Tilt

TubBuddy Bathing Transfer System with No Tilt

$2886

Features of the TubBuddy Bathing Transfer System: The TubBuddy is an ergonomic bathing transfer system designed to allow a patient to safely transfer over a bath tub without committing to any costly construction. This model is also capable of rolling over standard/elongated toilets to be used as a commode. The TubBuddy eliminates unnecessary transfers between toileting and bathing making it comfortable for both patient and caregiver meanwhile reducing costs and contributing to good patient hygiene. Bath time can be a struggle and a danger for wheelchair-bound individuals and their caregivers, particularly when using a bathtub as opposed to a shower stall. Transferring the patient in and out of the tub, attempting to move an individual who lacks upper body control, and repositioning the patient to wash all body parts put both parties at risk. Even bath chairs equipped with slider transfer systems require lifting the patient’s legs over the tub, presenting additional hazards. The TubBuddy, a new bath chair transfer system, solves these problems with a patent-pending, industry-first hydraulic tilting mechanism that enables the chair to lean back and lock at a 10, 20 or 30-degree incline with the press of a lever. This unique tilting capability reduces the risk of having the patient fall out of the chair during either the transfer or bathing process, and it allows the patient’s legs to easily clear the side of the tub without the strain and potential mishaps associated with physically lifting them. The ability to recline the chair also provides trunk and head support, relieves pressure points, offers easier access to the buttocks and other intimate areas, and makes bath time a more comfortable experience overall. The TubBuddy also features a built-in commode for bedside use; a roll-over commode capability for standard toileting; a tub base unit with a bearingless track that requires no oiling or maintenance; and the first transfer bridge that can be resized to accommodate odd-sized bathtubs or unusual bathroom layouts. The bridge is removable, allowing patients with sufficient mobility to bathe independently behind a shower door or curtain. In addition, the TubBuddy is the first system of its kind made of 95% high grade aluminum and 5% stainless steel for greater strength, better rust resistance and longer life. In fact the TubBuddy will not rust, corrode, bend, or break. It can handle patients up to 440 pounds, includes locking casters as well as flip-up armrests and adjustable footrests, and is latex- and silicone-free.Products Specifications: Rolling Base: 20"W x 28"D. Back Width: 18". Back Height: 19". Floor to Seat Height: 26". Floor to Neck Rest Height: 50". Max Toilet Clearance: 18". Bridge Length (standard): 16". Inside Arm to Arm Width: 18". TubBuddy Bathing Transfer System with Tilt

Features of the TubBuddy Bathing Transfer System: The TubBuddy Tilt is an ergonomic bathing transfer system which carries one special feature the original TubBuddy does not. The unit allows for safe and easy transfer over and out of the bath tub incorporating a tilt option. The tilt option allows the caregiver to relieve pressure for the patient while simultaneously making it easier to bathe the patient. The tilt option alleviates caregiver strain by allowing the patient to slide over the bath tub without having to lift their legs. Cindy paraplegic transfer wheelchair to toilet

Adapted Pants?... other solutions?

I'm wondering what solutions are out there for wheelchair users such as myself, in regard to independent toileting. I can transfer myself alright, pull down pants, etc, but am unable to pull up my pants. I'm trying to find away to completely independently use the restroom. I am trying to avoid using a catheter..... I have good use of my right arm, but the left has very limited usage... any ideas?

Haha is your nickname lazy legs? Do you go doo-doo in your pants? Get a poop sack.
