How to transfer your 10mo from your bed to his crib.?
MY 10MO OLD SLEEPS WITH ME AND MY HUSBAND AND CRIES EVERYTIME WE PUT HIM IN THE CRIB BUT AS SOON AS WE TAKE
HIM OUT AND PUT HIM IN OUR BED HE INSTANTLY STOPS CRYING.
Our daughter was like that! Basically what our Ped said was yes it might give you headaches but it does work. When it is time for bed lay your boy in the crib and walk out. If he starts crying go in there after 5/10 minutes and rub his back, DO NOT take him out, but let him know you are there. and basically repeat the process. in about a week he should be OK. That was the advice that I was given! Good Luck

How old was your Toddler when you transferred them to a Toddler bed? And how did they do?
AND how do you keep them from getting up and roaming the house while you're asleep?

My son has always slept with his door open .. closing the door wouldn't be an option.
Both kids transitioned the week they turned 2. It was a pretty easy transition both times. We told them to stay in bed and they did. Their bedroom doors are always opened about 6-8 inches.
Our son was a lot better than our daughter has turned out to be. She's now 2.5 years old and there have been a handful of times that I've had to follow through on my threat to put up the gate.
The kids go to bed a few hours before we do so they're always deep asleep when we head to bed. My son, almost 6, will get up and use the bathroom from time to time and go right back to bed in the middle of the night. If my daughter wakes up in the middle of the night there's plenty of "mommy, mommy, mommy" to warn me she's on her way to my room. We've never had a problem with house roaming in the middle of the night.
