Suspension Manual
I was given a bike with a suspension stem and no manual. How do I adjust the stem?
There's a hex bolt inside the bottom of the stem, which is used to make the adjustment, obviously, but which way should it turn to tighten and more importantly is it possible to destroy the stem by over-tightening.
I don't see any kind of brand markings on the stem but it's from a Schwinn Clear Creek.
Anything else I should be aware of?
When you turn the bolt clockwise it compresses the spring and makes it stiffer. I turn the bolt all the way in so the suspension doesn't work and then gradually loosen it to where you like it. I just leave mine tightened all the way.

Where's the air compressor for the suspension on a Crown Victoria?
Okay, I'm having problems with it, it has quit working. So I want to convert it to manual operation by using a air filler valve and teeing the to lines together. But i do not know where it is located. and Will this work ?
Compressor is located on the drivers side of the engine compartment under the air filter.
