Step Lift how exactly do you make those animal traps where this noose on the ground lift you up in the air when you step
on it?
lol.....hehehe......are you serious. The kind you see in jungle movies. You have to have some kind of tree that will bend way down with a rope attached to it and a noose placed in just the right spot and cover with leaves. Secure the rope as lightly as possible so that the slightest vibration will trigger it. I think this is called a snare.

Lift is a new web development framework built on the Scala programming language. Lift shortens development cycles because it is streamlined, production-ready, scalable, and leverages standards and the Java Virtual Machine.Lift in Action is a step-by-step exploration of the Lift web framework. It opens by presenting the core of the Lift framework, along with enough Scala to get started. Then, the carefully crafted, well-explained, progressive examples quickly have readers building something real. A sample application covers most of Lift`s key concepts while introducing architectural and development strategies to build good Lift apps. By the end, all of Lift’s features and components have been systematically explored.

Kettlebell Deadlift (step one in learning kettlebell swing)
If someone was travelling at the same speed as a pressurized jet of water, could he step into the water?
Hypothetically, if someone was able to travel at the same speed alongside a very fast stream of water shooting into the air, could he/she step into the water stream and be lifted up?
What do you mean by lifted up. If no other force like gravitation or any other attractive or repulsive force is acting, like an ideal space scenario, then if the person id moving with the exact same speed as that of the water, then he can move in and out of the stream, he won't even feel any slightest change in pressure. But we miss one thing here while moving into water also he must be traveling at the same speed and how do you account for the water which is being replaced by the man. If you ignore the water being replaced, he should be able to move in and out, or move in and stay (if the doesn't die), feel just like he was when he was moving outside the water.
