Star Wheelchair
How long does it take to get from All Star Music to the parks? How long is the wait for the bus?
We will staying there the end of October. We love going to Disney World during the fall but w e've always rented a car in the past. Are the buses usually crowded? My daughter is in a wheelchair so I'm not sure about all of this. Should I go ahead a rent a car. Any advise is appreciated.

The end of October is considered off season, so transportation should be at its best. While the value resorts are typically on the busy side, the bus system has been upgraded to a computerized dispatch system. Now, buses should automatically come as needed, and long waits should be a thing of the past. In the past, large crowds could cause those at the end of the line to have to wait over an hour. This should not happen anymore.
From All Star Music, the bus ride to Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, or the Animal Kingdom is about 10 minutes. The Magic Kingdom, Downtown Disney, and the Water Parks are closer to 15-20 minutes. If you go to the WDW website, and view their map of the entire resort, you can see the closeness of the resort to the parks.
Since the transportation is free, parking is close to $10 a day (per park), and about as fast as driving, parking, and walking to the park, I never even consider using my car to get to them.
Also, guests in wheelchairs go to the front of every bus line.
