Spill Drink Cup
Spills! Anyone but me having trouble with your Starbucks cup lids popping off the top of your drink?
When I grab my drink, getting out of my car, the lid has been popping off the top of my drink lately. Spilling in my car, and on my hands. This has not happened to me until the last few weeks. Anyone else having the same problem?
OMG - yes - while driving - and burning my lap - on the pants I was wearing to work. TWICE!

My dog fails to understand the concept of a tea cup. Why?
This has happened many times before and I don't know how to train my dog on this. I drink green tea in a cup. I leave the cup on the table because it is hot. Few minutes later when i get back, i notice the cup is spilled on the carpet.
My dog hits the cup with his paw and it all falls down on carpet. Why does he do this? He has done this several times before. I also keep forgetting not to leave the cup alone.
Your dog does this simply because it provides him with momentary amusement. The act is actually called "targeting" and can be quite useful (and fun) if you put it on cue. You can teach him to close cupboards, open doors, ring bells on doors, give you 5, lots of things!
If you want to discourage your dog from knocking over your teacup, then set up a trap. Use a product called a Sssscat which uses a motion detector to spray compressed air and a small beep when the beam is crossed. It'll only take your dog a couple of times to figure out that going near that cup is not such a good idea and the problem is solved. You can also set up a trap by putting pennies in your cup (if your dog is sound sensitive) and that too can work. But the Sssscat is a harmless way to deal with the issue.

Wow, you put a lot of thought into this.
As long as you keep in mind 3 year olds don't always do what they are expected, you should be okay. Your games and creativity are really nice and the parents will appreciate the effort; however, kids like simple things and some of it may be a bit overdone and they may loose interest.
Sometimes something as simple as a temp. tattoo made with the Cars theme will be easier and the kids will be happier with it. Or maybe a Pinata with the Cars theme. Overall, I think they will have a great time if you keep leading them into the right direction they will play all the games.
Personally, I like the idea of having a slideshow. I also like the idea for the name tags. Names can get confusing easily! I don't think you need a doorprize for the adults. They will have enough fun just coming to see the kids play. And the food is perfect. The kids can play and eat easily instead of being expected to sit down for a meal. I would recommend cupcakes instead of a sheet cake for them.
