battery power for ATT Tilt?
I have an ATT Tilt phone (HTC) which I really love. There is one problem. It goes though the battery in like three hours if you are using it. I was wondering if anyone out there has a solution on how I can get more battery power. I would even consider a power pack of sort if one is available. I use a sling box with my phone for when like I am at a baseball game and want to see the broadcast too. I also like to use the internet a lot. When I am at home or my office, I keep it plugged in. Thanks for any help out there.
You use proccessor demanding applications, when you're mobile - this may be the reason for the quick drain in power.
you can turn down the display brightness a few notches, set the backlight timeout to something lower i.e. 1 minute when not plugged in.
you can also reduce the WiFi strenght to help reduce its power consumption. also check com manager and check that 'beam' ,'bluetooth','wifi' are always off when not in use.
also check for phone updates from the official website that help improve existing hardware.

How much? How long? How much longer will the Labour Party be in power?
Labour are at last returning to their true colour. When last in power in the 1970s the Labour Party took us to the brink of financial disaster this time it has taken them nealy 10 years to tip us over the edge. John Major left a good fiscal policy in place only to have this current Government take us back into untold debt.
An article on this morning's BBC website indicates that we have seen nothing like this since the days of Denis Healey - well we weathered those days so I guess we will again but it will mean that whoever is in power next time will take all the mud slinging from the media because taxes will have to rise to pay for the excesses of Gordon Brown who as Chancellor sold our gold reserves at the lowest price gold had ever been to fund some of his wacky ideas.
