Arguments against God?

Here's what another dumb atheist recently said:

"If there is a God, then why do severly mentally challenged people exist? If someone is so handicapped that they cannot understand the gospel and not accept Jesus then why are they here? Most Christians think they will go to Heaven even if they do something really bad, because after all they are mentally handicapped so they can't be responsible for their actions. Isn't life supposed to be a test? I guess they exist to test the parents."

If you want to help other people with their religious doubts, I believe that you need to take the arguments head on. Here's my response to that:

I think that ironically the atheist is actually right in the sense that mentally handicapped people exist primarily to test the parents. These people were selected by God because they were especially righteous before they were born, so they needed an extra challenge during their lives.

Don't you agree?

Yes, I agree with that. Its sad that people feel the need to prove that God doesn't exist. Is religion really so bad if it helps so many people improve their lives?

Is there anyone that can help me with a wagering question?

I don't wager on the horses yet. However I've gotten pretty good at handicapping. I choose 2 horses on a select race, and my average is about 23-25 wins or places out of 30. However I don't know how I would put this into an effective wagering system. If I added shows then I'd probably be up about 2.
I use an OTB. I've only gone in to bet for fun. What I'm not sure is how I can wager on two horses in each of those 30 races (60 horses altogether) to make it profitable. Also i would have wager win and place or would one be more effective although the money in the other is better? I guess I'm looking for a wagering strategy. Maybe x amount on one x amount on two. Or should I do it by percentage wise?

If you can pick 23-25 wins or places out of 30 opportunites you will be wealthy. What do you mean you don't know how to put this into an effective system? Can you bet? OTB place?

If adding shows only adds 2 more wins then don't bet it, it is not worth it...
