Scooter Travel how to make a newtons scooter with chemical energy?
Hi,
I have to make a newtons scooter that will travel 1.5 meters without using a ramp, co2 or a rubber band. I want to use a chemical reaction that will give off gas that will propel the car. Any ideas other than vinigar and baking soda?
Chemical reactions that can produce a useful amount of the required thrust amount to building a steady flow rocket engine.
A much safer approach might be to slap some wheels onto a "water bottle rocket."

Is it feasible to travel from town to town in Uruguay on a Vespa(scooter)?

Funny question. From town to town in a Vespa.
Let´s see. Uruguay is not a big country, though it is 550km long, and in the south shore it´s like 400km.
It makes me think in our current president who used to have this Vespa, and he went to congress in this vehicle in the past. Now he has a Volkswagen beetle he hasn´t forsaken yet.
It´s better you get a bigger vehicle or a car. You´ll be safer then. And not sure how many km would the Vespa be available to put up with.
I understand travelling from town to town, as going further the capital Montevideo, and visit the little towns or cities outside Montevideo.
