Scooter Starter
Scooter problem: Starter not clicking like usual, scooter not turning on. Starter or starter switch?
Scooter is not working. Not a battery issue, battery has full charge. Fuse is still good, and the fuel gauge and horn still works. When starting the scooter, clicking noise used to happen upon depressing the starting switch on the handle bars, but now I get no clicking noise at all. And of course, no turnover either. Not sure if it's the starter itself or the starter switch. Don't want to have to try replacing both. How can I find out for certain which is the actual problem?
Run a wire straight from the +POS battery to the starter connection, if motors spins one of the switches is bad, if motor does not spin starter is bad

Vespa Scooter - Starter Design with no modification to engine or frame
How can I get my scooter to stay running after a long sitting time?
-2001 Honda Scooter
-125cc engine
-Sat for 6 years
-4 stroke
-cleaned carb
-cleaned fuel filter
-new air filter
-drained gas
-new premium gas
All this done but still it will start initially with starter fluid, then die after about 2 min. It will stay running with an additional spray, but I know its bad for the engine.
Please help!!
New air filter and adjust the carb settings.
