Who would you report a hospital to for wrongdoing?
I swear that this must be illegal or something. We are in a small town (3000). Our hospital has an emergency room, 24/7. But, they rarely have a doctor on duty. If there is a doctor there, there is only one (even though they have an entire list of them on salary who are supposed to do duty in emergency).
I took a woman there who had broken her foot in an accident on her scooter. Three hours later, the nurse finally admitted they were waiting for a doctor to come on duty, because there wasn't one- at all! I have had many other people tell similar stories. When I took my son there for stitches, there was one doctor bopping between 2 flu patients, a car accident with 3, and a woman with heart trouble. What if something big happened?
They should not be able to get away with having NO DOCTOR on duty, or on call.

Yet Clinton pardoned 16 Puerto Rican terrorists for votes for his wife Hillary (who was running for the senate) and the media rarely reported on it?

But this is very unusual commutation. Bush bypassed justice department. Which is what you're kind of suppose to do. Go through justice department. The judge who sentenced Libby thinks that Bush may have violated some federal law. I think he released statement questioning Bush's commutation of Libby's sentence. This thing may not be over yet.
So it's not just about who pardoned who how many criminals. It is also about the way this particular commutation was granted that is getting criticized.
I think you missed some of the points people are making. I kind of think its stupid Bush did this. I would have either just pardoned Libby or not pardoned him.
This weird commutation is going to be more controversial than if he just had pardoned him.
