Scooter Rarely Used
what is wrong with some people?
this rarely ever happened before but now it happens all the time...when ever I use either a wheelchair or scooter from a store and get people glaring at me when I walk over to the scooters/wheelchairs and then say crap to me when I sit down in one.(and yes I do need them) what is wrong with some people
I think it's the fact that so many people that really shouldn't be using the handicapped parking spaces, seem to be able to talk their doctor into issuing them a handicapped parking permit prescription. The less you walk, the worse your condition gets in some cases. I talked to a friend a few years ago who's wife had the need of a handicapped permit, and was issued one. She passed away, and he didn't think it was wrong for him to continue to use the permit to park in a handicapped parking place because it was "really handy". When I informed him that it was against the law, he said he really didn't realize that, and stopped the practice. Unfortunately, these folks make everyone wary of anyone using any handicapped assisted public convenience. My wife has MS and therefore has a handicapped permit. We only use it when the weather is very bad ( raining, snowing ). She's better off walking as much as possible to keep in shape. Walking is one of the best exercises a person can do.

Hi! Is there a website similar to "CraigsList" that is popularly used in Greece (but in the English language)? I tried using the CraigsList--Greece link, but it seems like this website is rarely used here in Greece.

I don't know any sites. You can get a newspaper with ads, like "aggelioxoros" and somebody greek to translate while you call for anything that you are interested.
