Scooter Mobility Wheel How do you start a Fund raiser?
Ok so my son is 13. He has a heart of gold and always want to help someone.. the other day we were down town and he seen some elderly people in Wheel chairs and mobility scooters, he asked this elderly gentleman why he was in a wheel chair and not in a Mobility scooter and the elderly gentleman said that he couldn't afford a mobility Scooter, That there were other elderly people out there struggling.. So my son now wants to raise money to buy Mobility scooters for the Elderly that can not afford it.. I'm all for my son doing this, I was proud that he thought of the idea and that he wanted to help. But Now its like how does he even begun to start on it... Would you agree for him to be doing this....
first, get friends and family to help out. next pick a topic: service or sales. You could do a car wash, bake sale, yard sale etc. you could also put a donation jar at a local restaurant or somewhere where someone can keep an eye on it for you. make sure you get permission first so you don't get in trouble. ask your son to ask the school principal if he can have some sort of sale at school. He could also sell smencils at any place where he has permission. Smencils are a big hit.
