why wont my 49.5cc scooter start 10pts?
there are a few things wrong with it. my uncle snapped the throttle cable by accident and now its sorta rigged on the outside of the handle bar, also he by mistake, put unleaded gas in the tank when all ive ever put in it was premium..so its been sitting for about 2 weeks and ive tried repeatedly to start it which ended in me buying a battery charger and new spark plug and now that im doing more research it sounds like it mught be a gum buildup in the carburator? im no machanic but also unfortunatly have no cash for one. so any help is much appreciated.
I had one that wouldn't start, Turned out to be a mud wasp had built a "nest" in the exhaust tip.

Could be the exhaust is plugged?

Does recharging batteries work for cars?
Basically, i rerouted my escooter wires so it goes from - to + and back to negative by adding an extra wire. It turns out this simple copper wire attachment did wonders, my scooter runs twice as long and never runs out of batteries because it recycles the current or somehow recharges itself. 8hrs turned out to be like 16. I also boosted the signal strength with copper based stereo tube cables. Would this work for cars also?
..and in case your wondering it doesnt brake the battery down or wear out its life because the wire that reroutes the energy is a simple metal one strand non conductive one and not copper.
I call BS on the escooter. If you do that to a battery you will short circuit it.
You say it is a copper wire attachment at the start of the question, then go on to say it is not copper but a simple non conductive metal? If it's non conductive then its not even doing anything anyway!
Also, there is no need to recharge your car battery while it is running because it already does recharge itself, that's what an alternator does.
