A. The pressure in a tyre increases because the pump is pushing more air into a limited space. Hence, there are more and speedier molecules bumping against the walls of the tyre, and that is what 'pressure' is.
B-C. When you heat air, the pressure will increase because the molecules move faster and strike their surroundings with greater frequency and higher momentum.
D. A pneumatic tyre deforms (changes volume) when it strikes a bump, so the length of time of the collision is increased. This reduces the corresponding acceleration of the wheel and creates a smoother ride.

Where can I find a 3.5" x 1" rubber tire?
I need three, 1" (125mm) wide inflateable rubber tires that are 3.5" (438.5mm) in diameter, for a dolly for a camera. I have three wheels already, but they're solid and i need a smoother ride. I've seen small rubber tires like this somewhere, but i cannot figure out where to get them.
