Rigging Leg

My dog broke her leg. Can anyone relate?
She was running too fast and got it caught on our deck. Her bone split perfectly in half and we had to take her to the vet.
She got a metal rod down her leg with rods going through her leg. It looks awful. Like a torture device.
She's had it on for a while, like 6-8 weeks?
She was supposed to get it off a couple weeks ago, but the vet said three more weeks.
What does that mean?
Was it infected?
Was something wrong?
She has another vet appointment this Wednesday to get the rig off. I hope she is okay. It's been a lot of money. We give her pills and calcium and such, but the other day she was playing tug of war with herself with a rope and fell over. She cryed. AH, I'm so scared for her.
Another thing, she won't put any weight on it.
Does anyone know what this means? Is it normal to not put weight on it? Help?!
It sounds like you aren't confining her properly. One of the most important things in leg injuries is that the dog is kept quiet and confined! By letting her run around and hurt herself, you could be making the problem worse. Crate her now.

Tob's Blender 2.5 IK/FK Leg Rigging Tutorial 1/2 Inverse Kinematics and Forward Kinematics
Can you support war without being willing to serve in all-volunteer army?
I can. Just like I support driving my car without being willing to work on an deep-sea oil rig and I support building things out of wood without being willing to become a logger, and I support eating delicious Alaskan King Crab legs without signing up for a spot on "Deadliest Catch." Because these jobs are at least as dangerous as serving in the military, I wouldn't do them. Many people do. I'm sure they have very good, very personal reasons. And I'm grateful to them.
Yes, same as you can be against the war without protesting. Same as you can be for saving the planet without driving a car that isn't a hybrid.
