We run a vehicle hire business covering the North London and Hertfordshire areas, specialising in wheelchair accessible vehicles and need advice on contacting vehicle insurance companies with a view to supplying them/their customers with a replacement vehicle while theirs is being repaired.
Should we contact all brokers?
Just underwriters?
How would we find contact details for brokers and under writers?
Most garages provide courtesy cars while vehicles are being repaired. Many people also have provision through their insurance policies for hire cars.
One thing that might be worth considering is contacting all the garages that are Motability providers. We sometimes have to delay having work done on our vehicle until the right courtesy car is available with suitable access. Link up with dealers in North London and Hertfordshire and you could find a regular stream of business. It may even be worthwhile contacting Motability directly. They have a magazine that goes out to all their customers.
