Removable Full Arms
Will I need surgery for fractured pinky?
I fell while skateboarding and fractured my pinky.
I went to a health center and they took x-rays and this was the diagnosis: fracture, phalanx of the hand; fracture proximal head 5th finger proximal phalynx, slightly dislocated
they gave me a full arm splint to wear for a week until i could meet an orthopedics person. i'm meeting that person tomorrow.
i can move my pinky around in all directions without any pain, except when i bend it forward, i can't touch the tip of my pinky to my palm like i can with my other hand.
i'm 18 years old. do i need surgery on my pinky? i really don't want a hard cast. even if it takes 3x longer to heal with a removable splint, i'd rather take that route.
I broke my pinky over the summer playing football and they told me I wouldn't need surgery unless the bone was dislocated, so if the bone sets right and in the right spot, then they won't need to do surgery, but if the bone doesn't set in the right spot they will need to re-break it if it has started healing already, and then do surgery to reset the bone. And yes they will do surgery on a pinky if they have to, my dad has dealt with this kind of stuff several times, and his girlfriend (who is a paramedic) has as well.

1995 Megaman Action figures?
I have a full set of action figures based on the Megaman video games released in the mid '90s for the NES. Each figure comes with removable weapon arms and interchangeable projectiles, to simulate MegaMan's weapon-copying powers. The set includes: Megaman, Protoman, Gutsman, Rush, Cutman, Bombman, Snakeman, Brightman, Drillman, and Elecman. I was curious as to if anyone knew the value of these figures. I believe they are worth quite a bit but would like to know more. Thanks!
I would check the magazine ToyFare or Lee's Action Figure Review for pricing and value. Since it has only been about 12 years since the figures were released they may not be worth a lot. Also in order to really be worth anything the figures have to be in their packages, and the packages in mint condition. Even if they are loose and intact with all accessories their value is cut in half from mint-in-package.
The other thing to consider is that MegaMan does not have any big cartoon, hot video game, or current toy line. With none of that around its hard to sell items on the secondary market. To get the best price people have to be thinking about MegaMan and thinking about buying up older merchandise to complete their collections. Right now MegaMan just doesn't have that.
