so yea its old
it has dual exhuast but im taking in mind boring it out to a 302
I had a 1968 mustang coupe with a 289 what i did was change the pistons to a boss 302 in which i had to bore bigger holes then i changed the air intake and the headers. You will feel the difference trust me but dont forget to upgrade your tranny and rear. I hope i was help full.

How can I convince my father to use a wheelchair?
My father in law has had cancer of the prostate for many years. At the moment, he is bed ridden due to the inability to stand for any period of time. He is a very proud man and does not like the idea of using a wheelchair - each time it is suggested, he dismisses the idea. Mentally, he is very active and is still actively managing the affairs of his law firm from his bedroom. Physically, he is weak and needs constant attention. His cancer specialist recommends that he gets out and about ... he suggests that beyond medication, a change of scene and being involved in different surroundings and goings on will help tremendously.
We actually already have a wheelchair, a fairly modern kind, black webbing, red frame and black mag wheels ... it's really nice to look at ... but when we told my father in law, he simply said ... "As far as I am concerned, there is no such thing as an attractive wheelchair", while laughing a little.
We keep trying to bring it up ... we can't force him ...
I guess if he wont get in it, there really isnt anything you can do. Forcing him isnt going to help. But maybe if you continue to tell him all the good reasons he should use it, he will come around.
Perhaps one day he will finally get sick of being in the bed and suggest its use again. Or maybe he doesnt like the idea of a 'wheelchair' because it suggests that he may need help, ie being pushed. Or maybe it suggests to him that he is old, or even an invalid. Maybe a power scooter would be more appropriate.
Have you discussed with him WHY he wont use one? Maybe there is a hidden meaning behind his refusal....perhaps you should ask him kindly to just try it...and if he doesnt like it you will stop pressing the issue. A lot of times you have to comprimise with people. I find this often with my patients at work. I say things like "i'll give you a nice back rub if you just take a shower for me...you will feel better if you just get cleaned up" and usually they will do it.
I dont know what to suggest if he just flat out says no...just try your best to get him to TRY it out...just for one day...if you get that much at least you got something and you know you tried your best!
