Pride Legend Why isn't Simba and Nala's daughter Kiara considered a Disney Princess?
I mean, Mulan isn't even ROYALTY and she's considered a Disney princess. Kiara was actually born into a royal family, seeing it be that Simba was King of Pride Rock when she was born. And there was even discussion of her becoming queen in the Lion King sequel. SO! Mulan was based on a 2,000 year old Chinese legend. And if SHE can be a Disney princess, why isn't Kiara one?
Besides the fact that she is an animal, I think Disney princesses also have to be the star of the movie they came from. You don't see Disney princesses in movies that don't center around them, because then you would have a whole bunch of angry little girls who saw the movie to see the princess, only to find that she wasn't a main part of the movie.

I was recently discussing the movie 300 with a friend. I said all it was is a dumb non-horror slasher film. He said that it's about victory and pride. Pride used to be something awful. In greek legends hubris led to humility. One of the seven deadly sins was pride. Now It seems like something to be desired. When did this reversal happen, and is pride good? Explain.
pride both has its boon and bane depending on how you you use it.. pride could make you feel superior then when your a butt head you step on other people's rights. Pride would also preserve and it would let you remember your dignity. After all,it matters on your decision and on how you want to live your life.Would like to hurt or help people..but then again,ain't pride one of those capital sins?
