hockey players vs basketball players?
why is it that a hockey play can get a life-threatening cut on his neck and then skate to the bench under his own power, but a basketball player will tweak his shoulder and have to leave the court in a wheelchair? why are all basketball players such babies? they will have a sprained toe and miss a couple of weeks, but a hockey player can get his eye cut open, go to the dressing room and get stiches, then return and finish the game!
Cuz hockey is much more physical and those who are most physical and tough growing up playing it tend to succeed. Basketball on the other hand involves guys who are a lot more fragile...when you're that tall, it's a lot easier to get hurt.
