Position Lift Chair If we slept in one position without moving, would we get bed sores?
I was thinking about ways to improve my posture. I remembered a back exercise that helps, where you lay flat on your back and lift your legs up and rest them on a couch or chair. Then I wondered if it would help while we were sleeping like that for 8 hours, when our bodies are relaxed.
i have been doing it every night for the past 2 years and have no bed sores yet. that only happens if you are bed ridden and never get out of bed. that is why they have to be flipped. sleeping on your back is great for posture

Can someone explain this science experiment?
This experiment involves 5 persons and a chair. One person sits on a chair. Two other persons position both their index fingers behind the knees of the sitting person, the other two persons put both their index fingers under the sitting person's armpits. The four persons try to lift the sitting person up. The don't get very high. Then the four 'lifting' persons put their hands on top of the sitting person's head, count to 10, shake out their hands and repeat this two more times. After shaking out the hands for the third time, they immediately try to lift the sitting person up again as described and this time they can lift the person much higher. Why does this work?????
I think it has to do with when the muscles function. Like if you tried to lift something heavy with out any luck, and then you do a buch of push ups, your muscles are like active and it's much easier to lift.
