Position Electric Lift
Door handle stuck locked!?!?!?!?!?!?
Now, when i was messing around with my car, i pushed down the lock part that is on the door. ( the part that closes down around the bar when the door is closed ) The door was wide open, and i moved it from "open" position to "Lock" position. Now, i cannot lift it back it open position, therefor, i cannot close my doors since it is stuck down. I tried the electric door unlock button, and no luck, and the same goes for flipping the unlock switch over. Does anyone know how to get this lever back into the open position???:?? I dont know if it makes a difference, but i have a 1999 olds aurora.
If its the door latch your talking about. Stick a screw driver in where the door striker goes and then pull the inside door handle like you were trying to open the door.Pull the screw driver towards the inside of the car and it should unlatch it.

What is wrong with my bridge on my electric guitar?
I just changed my strings on my electric and now the bridge is in a weird position. It is held in by the screws in front, but the back end is now lifted up, so the whole bridge is tilted towards the neck of the guitar. Is this bad and if so how can i fix it
EDIT: Fixed it... tightened screws on tremolo springs and retuned
It sounds like you used too thick of a string gauge, or have tuned the strings too high, which causes the strings to create more tension. It can eventually bend the neck of your guitar forward, which will mess up the intonation and feel, but as long as you fix it in a timely fashion, you should be fine.
The easiest way to fix it is to replace the strings with a lower gauge set (.010-.046 is standard for electrics, but you may need to go to as low as a .009 set or a .008 depending on what gauge is lifting your bridge). If you are using a Strat style bridge (I'm guessing you are), you can add an extra tremolo spring to the bridge block, but I would recommend switching to lighter gauged strings as you can also add to much spring pull which will lower the back end of you bridge.
