Pet Wheelchair Disabled

What makes your blood boil?
go on let it out , you will feel better, what makes my blood boil , i have a disabled child and cause i am youngish people always open their mouths and give me grief about parking in the disabled bays ... then i calmly get my little boy out and put him in his wheelchair and those idiots feel so stupid and horrible lol , and people buying pets and a couple of months down the line decide they dont want them , like my stupid uncle , he keeps getting these cute pups and then gets bored with them ,xx
It makes my blood boil when people make fun of others.
I was at Sub Way getting a sandwhich and these three immature high school boys were making fun of this very thin, nervous boy at another table.
They were calling him names, laughing and being rude and loud.
I told them that they are high school age and they need to "grow up".
I asked the boy if he was okay.
He told me those boys pick on him all the time.
He looked me in the eyes and said, "They know I have cancer, but they still pick on me."
I couldn't finish my sandwhich from almost wanting to cry.
I get so MAD! when I see others picking on someone who can't/are afraid to defend themselves.
I gave the boy (Jon) my number and I'm going to see that he meets lots of friends his age.
As for those other boys, I wrote down their tag # and gave it to a policeman I know.
He says he is going to have a looong talk with them about the abuse they are doing.

Does a Disabled Child = a Disabled Family? $23.45 Many people attempt to address issues concerning developmentally disabled children and their families from a purely academic viewpoint. Others have very personal experiences with little or no professional or academic background. Both can be beneficial and provide helpful information, but they both also have potential pitfalls and limitations. The purpose here is to use personal experience along with professional and academic information to help professionals, parents, and siblings in their adjustment to their new journey. The goal is to assist families in ways of achieving balance between taking care of the needs of parents to continue to develop themselves, their relationships, their nondisabled children, and the disabled family member. The ideas presented here are not intended to address specific disabilities. They are to provide perspective and some general helpful ideas that can be implemented regardless of the disability of the child. Cindy's First Spin in a K-9 Cart Dog Wheelchair
California Green Zone Parking?
I am 25 years old and disabled in a wheelchair due to back problems. Me and my dad went shopping for my pets yesterday and where we go it's not that much parking available so we parked in a 30 minute green zone. I hung my blue disable placard on the inside mirror and was gone for about 45 minutes. We came out a meter reader was writing a ticket so I asked what was she doing and she had a very awful attitude. I showed her where I hung the placard and she told me that it didn't mater and that we was in this spot for over 30 mins. Then she went on to say that if we didn't move the car that she would have it towed away. If I remember right on the paperwork that came with the placard it said that I could park in a green zone without a time limit. Am I in the wrong here?
You are correct.
Go to the nearest police station (wherever the ticket was issued from i think) and they should take care of it.
Just be sure to have your paperwork identifying you as the placard holder.
