Pack Medical
Stopped birth control pill 4 days b4 end of pack and havent got my withdrawal bleed?
Havent had sex during my last cycle.. Anyways I stopped bcp 4 days b4 end of pack for medical reasons. It is now 6 days ago and I haven't had a withdrawal bleed. I did get a bit of brown spotting yesterday and thought it was coming but nothing... Should i be worried??
If you havent had sex i wouldnt worry, birth control pills and injection pills contain a hormorne to stop/reduce eggs fertalising, this can cause irregularity.
A few years ago when i came off the injection pill it took me 18 months to come on and it was just my body getting back to normal, id gone through every test imaginable.
Id wait about another week and if you havent come back on then speak to your doctor for reasurance, but you will be ok, i doubt there is anything wrong.
But like i said if in doubt see your doctor or nurse.

Is it safe to skip the inactive pills in a birth control pack?
I am on birth control and I am aware that there is really no medical reason for a woman to have a period once a month. A friend of mine said the inactive pills that cause a monthly period in birth control can be skipped and just go straight to the next set of active pills to skip the period. I was just wondering if anyone had knew any reason why this wasn't ok to do, or if anyone knew that it was ok. Thanks! =)
