Calculus Help - Infinite Geometric Series?

Please explain these! Thanks!

1. Dudley dropped a bouncy ball out the window onto the large, flat driveway 27 feet below. His cousin measured each bounce and saw that it always rebounded to 82% of its height.
- If the ball is allowed to bounce indefinitely, what total vertical distance will it travel?

2. A patient is injected once a day with 50 units of a certain drug. This drug is eliminated exponentially, with any single injection leaving an amount of 50e^(ct) remaining after t days for some constant c.
a) Suppose that for any single injection, exactly half the amount adminstered is eliminated after 36 hrs. Use this to find c.
b) If the patient is injected every day for n days, how many units remain in the patients system at the end of n days? Express the answer in terms of a finite geometric series.
c) Treatment is continued indefinitely; use infinite geometric series to approximate # units of drug remaining in patient's system after a very long period of time.

RE: VICENTE SOTTO SCANDAL

Need help finding a particular patron saint.?

I need to try and figure out who may be the patron Saint of safe elevator trips. Youngster I know is traveling to the hospital at least once a week, when he is not an in patient. On top of everything else, doesn't their elevator get stuck between floors. Now he is afraid of the elevator and does not have the strength for the stairs. So, right now I am thinking of Florian, he is the patron saints of Firefighters and we deal with elevator rescues but, I think that is stretching it. Or maybe St George for overcoming fear. Anyone with a suggestion? Thanks
Thanks hocfecit, I spoke to him about all of that and even explained that if the elevator 'thinks there may be something wrong' it stops and won't let go and that THAT is why we do not ride elevators in an emergency. For him I think it was a combination of the last straw and one more bit of control taken from him and the silly person in the car with them that lost it.

Ask the Holy Spirit for safety and protection.
Aside, the elevator is old. Start yelling to the hospital people. They have fail safe self braking system if they ever slip. And there is a grease pit at the bottom which also stops falls. In 35 years of underwriting insurance including elevator liability, I have never heard of an elevator accident of any kind. They just don't happen. Not so in Europe. (exclude England) They are regularly inspected for safety and certified by law in the USA. You young friend is carrying a heavy load and the elevator is just one brick too many. Sympathies.
