Motor Transaxle

Try to build a motorized wheelbarrow/concrete buggy? Transaxle parts?
I am trying to build a motorized wheelbarrow/concrete buggy. If I can find a transmission good enough I want to be able to move 1000-1500lbs or more if that was possible. I have a few old lawn tractors for parts. I am using a motor with a starter instead of pull start. My main concern is the transaxle/transmission. I want forward and reverse. I think a lawn tractor unit would work well? Anyone know of anything else?
Also might use a motorcycle throttle for ease of use.
A lawn tractor might work...
What I'd REALLY look for is an ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) !! You might get lucky and find the rear from a old 2-wheeler since they're banned in the USA !!
They carry the weight and will work well in a low gear... lord knows I use ours for towing logs and brush.
Wish I could help you, but ours are all running well !!

1997 Chevrolet Cavalier Torque Strut Installation?
My mechanic (ex-mechanic) replaced the motor mount on the top side of the motor and then apparently got drunk because he is missing in action. I purchased the Torque Strut because it needs replacing also but I can’t seem to locate it on the motor. Does anyone know which part of the motor the torque strut is on? Is it on the transaxle? If so which side? Is it easy to replace? How would one replace it? Thanks!
On the bottom of the car behind the engine. When on a lift it's clearly visible from underneath. Your going to need a 13 or 15 mm socket for the bolts. It is pretty easy to replace but you'll have to jack up the car. once it's unbolted you'll have to rock the motor back and forth to get the new one lined up with the bolt holes. Make sure to use engine stands and do this on level ground. Good luck finding a new mechanic.
