Which is better for a Chevy crate motor? A 1 piece rear main seal or a 2 piece?
Does it even matter?
if you have a choice...go for the one piece. A one piece rear seal is less likely to leak since it doesn't have seams in it where the two halves meet. It's usually easier to replace the one piece seal when it does wear out and leak. All modern engines now use a one piece seal

Ever had a leaky motor home roof?
My motor home roof is leaking..it appears to be leaking around the antenna. what do I do? My friend seems to think that we can "fix it" by caulikng around the antenna on the roof..but i think that the entire roof needs to be sealed with that white stuff....what do ya think?
caulk won't last very long. just put a little roof tar around the antenna and that should hold
