Motor Sealed Battery
How can you get into a new Mustang when the battery fails?
On the latest Ford Mustangs the windows drop down a bit when you open the door. They say it is to make a better seal for enhanced quietness. What happens if the battery fails? You wouldn't be able to open the door to pop the hood to jump the car. Does it have a battery backup or anything that would allow it to work? Also if the window motor fails (this has happened to me in two different cars) how would you get the door open?
I should clarify by also saying READ THE QUESTION. The window drops down in allow the door to be opened. If you don't know what the new Mustangs are like Please do not try to answer.
It should still allow you to open the door. They are not THAT tight in there. Alot of other car makes do this as well, some BMW's, Benz do this and I've never noticed a problem when the battery is dead. You can still open the door, no worries
