Royal Canin Mobility Food?
I have a 9 month old male Japanese Akita that has been diagnosed and operated on for OCD (a bone disease). Our vet recommended that he be fed with Royal Canin Mobility Food and we have done so, however, it is costing us €90+ per 15kg bag, which only lasts our little monster approximately 1 month, as he is not the only Akita that we have, the food is costing us a fortune every month. Does anyone know a cheaper source for this food in Ireland (or anywhere else that would deliver) or alternatively another option for this but still on a high level of care? Thank You
Looking at the review of this dog food it doesn't seem that much of a good quality food in general

At the end of the review it explains that joint mobility aiding compound is "Green Lipped Mussel Powder", I don't know what that is but it says it can be bought separately as a supplement (and maybe fed with better food like Orijen which gets 6* on that review site and one of the only 6* (there is a couple more) foods on the site you can buy this side of the Atlantic (most are sold in the USA) )
If you could explain more about the bone disease?
