Medical Full Is it smart to get a full medical check-up every 6-12 months?
Like x-rays, the camera down your stomach etc to check for cancers so they can be detected early?
To get a check up every year is the smart thing to do, but I would be careful with x-ray ultrasound or any radioactive devices every 6 month I would wait at least 18 month to do so. It is very radioactive and you could end up catching what you are trying to avoid.

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles A medical sign is an objective indication of some medical fact or characteristic that may be detected by a physician during a physical examination of a patient. Signs may have no meaning for, or even be noticed by, the patient, but may be full of meaning for the healthcare provider, and are often significant in assisting a healthcare provider in diagnosis of medical condition(s) responsible for the patients symptoms. Examples include elevated blood pressure, a clubbing of the fingers (which may be a sign of lung disease, or many other things), and arcus senilis. The term sign is not to be confused with the term indication, which denotes a valid reason for using some treatment. The art of interpreting clinical signs was originally called semiotics (a term now used for the study of symbolic communication) in English. This term, then spelt semeiotics, was first used in English in 1670 by Henry Stubbes (16311676), to denote the branch of medical science relating to the interpretation of signs. What's the best website for full-text online medical journals (not free)?
Having lost university access to an electronic library upon graduation, I'd like to know which website (I'm assuming it will be a university library and that it will cost money) has online access to the most full-text medical journals. The price doesn't matter, and in particular, I'm interested in otolaryngology and related journals.
Medline Plus, it has ties to the National Institute of Health.
