Med Lift Med
Is is better to be addicted to pain med or suffer with pain?
Hi have terrible back pain. I have been to every doctor and we just can't find anything. The pain will go way beyond an ache and get the the point when I can't even lift my leg. I have a hectic live as a student and I take hydrocodon when the pain gets to me. Usually one tablet per day at night. My dr is completely against taking pain med and says I will get addicted. It just seems to me that I would rather be addicted then in terrible pain. I take other steps as well such as working out and watching my diet but it doesn't always work. What should I do? How should I approach doctors so I don't get labled as a drugiee?:(
I find marijuana helps with my back pain from ruptured disks.
In california there are a list of doctors who will prescrible medical grade marijuana in 2 different forms, cannabis flowers, or edibles that have been made for people who do not like to smoke. Also you can vaporize cannabis flowers so that you get the medical benifits from the THC but not the carginogens of smoking it.

I Need Help About Permanent Hair Dye..I'm Confused?
I have naturally dark brown hair. It is in excellent shape and falls about 3 inches below my shoulders.
I had a few grays coming in, so I have used Clairol's Natural Instincts. Started with Dark Brown--a bit too dark. Switched to their Med. Brown. Better, but still too dark. After a few years, too much color deposit. Hair looks almost black.
Now, I have even more grays popping up. The Nat. Instincts does not cover grays well. I have about 30-50% gray.
I want to move to permanent color like Nice n Easy, out of the box. Do I choose, Neutral Medium Brown? Or would that be too light, since permanent dyes lighten over time?
I simply want to cover my grays, and keep them covered. And I love being a dark-haired gal. Please help. Would the Med. Brown lift the too dark brown over time? Does permanent color damage hair?

I like Sparkles advise (above). I, too, have dark brown hair with just a few grays around my temples and scattered elsewhere--with more coming all the time. I use Clairol Nice 'n Easy in Natural Medium Golden Brown (#117). I did some experimentation with the nearby colors (like #118) but I think this one is best for me. The test: Do your roots show much as they are coming in? If so, choose a darker or lighter shade of color to match the new growth. You won't have to dye your hair so often or you can just do the roots. I've been dying my hair for a couple years now and consistently use good-quality conditioners after coloring and shampooing. So far, there doesn't appear to be any damage to my hair.
